Dust and debris buildup in legacy sheet metal duct
Why it happens here
Homes built in the 1960s through 1980s used sheet metal duct with internal insulation. Over time, the insulation breaks down and sheds fibers into the airstream. The rough interior also traps dust that a standard filter cannot catch.
Our approach
We use a rotary brush system with soft bristles that scrubs the duct walls without damaging the remaining insulation. Then we run a negative air machine and HEPA vacuum to pull everything out. We show you the camera footage before and after.
